Halapatovian Characters in the Staarusverse

Rintoul

Rintoul was a pro-Weraynian activist who, along with the Aandriggian Satah, organised the Halapatovian Pecayen Advocacy Network that arranged protests, mutual aid and information sharing during the Weraynian war. He was able to provide assistance to the Staarus team when they sought to rescue Jayken from a secure prison facility on Halapatov, and worked with them at a medical facility in the aftermath to provide healthcare to Jayken and analyse the data that Rojjel had procured during their heist.

Riowyn

Riowyn was a Halapatovian who worked as a journalist while spending her free time researching a strange phenomena of ghost sightings on her home planet of Halapatov. She had learnt of the ghosts while reporting on the strange death of a local boy, and had unearthed a wider network of people investigating ghostly beings which preyed on the mentally vulnerable and drained their bodies in some way. While investigating a similar death, she met Sophie and Abigail during their visit to Halapatov after their own encoutner with the ghostly beings which they believed had been somehow caused by their usage of the teleport watch to travel to and around Halapatov. Riowyn was able to provide information on the ghosts, and reassure them that the phenomena predated their arrival to Halapatov by decades. However she was intrigued by their connection to the ghosts and their timely presence during an increased prevalence of sightings, so she teamed up with them and hosted them in her small apartment, cooked them a meal, and shared all of the research she had on the ghosts. The three formed a fast bond, and were able to combine their skills to investigate ghost sightings, analyse the teleport watch data and pinpoint the site the ghosts had originated from, alerting authorities to the same. On arrival there, they found a machine from an ancient staar matter experiment which was still generating ghosts despite falling into disrepair. Riowyn witnessed Sophie and Abigail being pulled into the ghost world, and used her powers to amass staar matter and sever the connection between their universe and the ghost world, saving her friends but losing her life in the process.

Trista

Trista was a Halapatovian pilot who worked with Staarus forces in their Headquarters during the Weraynian war. She was assigned to the team composed of Sophia Lestari, Abigail Shurn, Alexa Trobit, Jayken and Rojjel, and developed a somewhat maternal fondness for them, and went to great lengths to help them even upon learning of their planned defection from Staarus forces to the pro-Weraynian side. It is implied that she was one of the few Staarus forces willing to work with a Weraynian and this was why she was assigned to their team. She would later start a romantic relationship with Thriftite Xeq, who had worked for the Reclamation Squad on Alliance Base 17 prior to settling down on Halapatov following the Weraynian war. She and Trista were avid fans of the Simlian soap opera 'Single Mom Tiny Home'. They attended the wedding of Sophie and Abigail on Flauraan.
